What We Do

Venture Club is a non-profit, service organization that raises money through fundraisers and then puts the money back into the community. Each year we choose a new organization as our major club project. Based upon the needs of the organization we choose, we will provide monetary needs and service hours. Venture Club also grants a Venture Young Woman's Scholarship to a graduate from the Kingman area; The Venture New Business Grant is awarded to a local woman starting a new business; and Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas Angels are given to those in need and we give donations to various non-profit organizations or individuals in need. In addition to our own services, we help out our Soroptimist Club with some of their projects such as Kamp Girl Power, The Gourmet Dinner and working the fair gates.

Throughout the year, Venture Club engages in many fundraisers. Each year we sell discounted fair-ride bracelets for the Mohave County Fair as well as sell Marie Callander pies at Thanksgiving time. In 2009, we hosted our 1st Annual Venture Charity Night Golf Tournament at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. This event has come to be our biggest fundraiser each year.
